Welcome omabada!! You might be interested in the new page I put up today with shots of the innards of the Evercade: evercade.info/inside-the-evercade/Edit: LOL - just saw your other post ! Was it you that pinged me on Reddit ? Haha, yeah that was me. I've come to realise how much an active modding scene prolongs the life and popularity of a console. So I'm really pushing hard for people to explore the evercade. The next step is to message some youtubers that might be interested in tearing it down and modding it.

Hey, im 32 and a pretty big collector of physical video games. Im from Indianapolis, Indiana and I love playing on original hardware, with a twist. I like to customize and mod the hardware to bring it up to current standards. I especially love hand helds. my modded GBA is a prized possession. Even though it isnt the most impressive thing i own, it was my first project a few years back. I hope some like minded enthusiasts can figure out what makes the evercade tick so we can make it better and have a longer lasting life span for the console. Hey, welcome to the forum, omabada! I have a modded GBA, too. It's the only console I've modified. IPS screen, glass lens, custom case and buttons. I hope to have a pic up soon.

Hey folks! I'm an old(ish) fart, 40, from Chicago, IL, USA. I've been a gamer all of my life and while I love my PS4, retrogaming is where my interests lie. I've done the emulation thing & I have flashcarts for damn near all of my old consoles, but the curated nature of the Evercade and the fact that a lot of the included games are things I missed the first time around have made the thing perfect for me. I'm excited to connect with other Evercade fans and I keep preaching about the thing to all my gamer friends hoping to grow the community!

It musta been great to be a gamer, in the '90s, in Chicago. I sure woulda liked to have taken in some of those early Pumpkins shows, too!!!

Hi, my name's Scott. I've had my Evercade for a week, with 7 carts, and I love it. I looked at it for a while, but the Lynx carts convinced me to get it.
I worked at Atari from 1988 to 1991, then continued as a contractor for about three years after that. My job title was Editor, but I also wrote many of the manuals, including most of the Lynx manuals. Some of the 7800 games I did are also on the Atari carts. I'm also the guy they sent Epyx to pick up the prototype, and I was the hand model for the diagram on the back of the original Lynx. So, the Lynx carts bring back some fun memories, and playing on the Evercade is as close as you can get to the real thing without an actual Lynx.
